Of late it seems some of the Ghanaian artists are becoming too lazy that they are rather sampling other’s songs instead of writing their own.
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale was accused of stealing Nigerian artist Danlil’s ‘Masa Musa’ and his artwork for his latest song ‘Masa Musa’.
Recently Ghanaian songstress Becca was also accused of sampling South Africa’s Sho Madjozi’s hit song ‘Jonh Cena’ for her latest song ‘No One’.
Today, dancehall artist Stonebwoy is also accused of sampling Uganda’s Big Tril’s hit song ‘Parte After Parte’ in his latest song ‘African Party’.
Stonebwoy earlier today released a song titled ‘African Party’ from his Angloga Junction album and one could see the similarities when compared to that of the Ugandan artist ‘Parte After Parte.
Stonebwoy as we all know is very good when it comes to songwriting, therefore, this accusation seems to be a shock to many.
