Lionel Messi has overtaken Pele as the footballer with the most goals for a single club.
Messi, 33, scored his 644th goal for Barcelona during their convincing 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid in LaLiga on Wednesday.
The goal made him achieve the enviable record, which Pele had held for over 40 years. The Brazilian legend scored 643 goals for Santos during a 19-year-stint.
Messi equalled the record on Saturday with his 643rd goal against Valencia then three days later set a new one.
Messi made his Barcelona debut in 2004, scoring his first goal for the Spanish side in 2005.
