In the video shared by Mahama’s daughter, Farida, the family is seen having a nice time together.

There are various meals set on the table, and coupled with the interaction they were having, one could see that it is a nice family time.

This comes at a time that Mahama and the whole of NDC are contesting the results of the 2020 Elections in court.

This prompted one Instagram user by the name Hendrix wondering if Mahama had invited the NDC supporters who protested in the hot sun:

Meanwhile, Mahama and the NDC are asking the Supreme Court to overturn the decision of the Electoral Commission (EC), regarding the 2020 Elections.

The party believes that the EC’s decision to crown President Akufo-Addo and the NPP the winner of the elections was flawed.

The NDC has thus filed a petition to the court seeking the verdict of the EC to be ruled out and fresh elections organised.

Some of the protesters recently became violent and burnt lorry tyres at Damongo, in the Savannah Region.

This happened less than 24 hours after Akufo-Addo had taken the oath and had been sworn into office.

The former president had warned that even though the case is in court, the NDC would not stop protesting until the court rules in its favour.
