A section of infuriated Ghanaians have unleashed their anger on UK-based Media network, Sky News fr describing them as world’s “Poorest People” in the caption of one of their stories concerning the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine in the country.
The public uproar followed after 600,000 doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine arrived safely in yesterday’s morning.
Sky News which reported on the new development pinned Ghanaians as big time-poor people reason the vaccine got to them first in Africa.
The caption they attached to their article read;
A flight carrying 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine has arrived in Ghana as part of a global effort to immunise the world’s poorest people.
Ghanaians on Twitter who stumbled on this news didn’t hesitate to savagely roast sky news for its gross disrespect.
